Attending the Festival Re-entry/Ins & Outs
3-Day ticket holders must exchange their ticket/PrintPass for a 3-Day wristband and are allowed to re-enter the grounds during the Festival
Wristbands MUST be worn for entry into the Festival.
Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced. They cannot be removed and must be worn all three days to allow entry. Please don't remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry (and that will make us sad). If the wristband is tampered with or mangled it can not be replaced.
Single day ticket holders will not be allowed to re-enter the Festival. You must pass through security each time you enter.
Event takes place rain or shine.
Allowed/Prohibited items
Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.
For a list of allowed and prohibited items in the park, please click here.
Disability Access/Accommodations
For information regarding accessible services in the park, please click here.
Cash and Credit Cards
If contemplating what monetary currency to bring, consider the following facts:
There are ATMs at several locations throughout the festival grounds with applicable service fees. Some vendors accept credit cards (such as the Festival’s Merchandise tent), but not all. Also, remember to keep your valuables safe and secure! The most popular items turned in at Lost and Found are credit cards, ids, and wallets.
Security & Safety
We are making every effort to create a safe and secure environment on the Festival grounds. On-site security will be provided by the Austin Police Department, the Parks & Recreation Department police, and a private security company.
Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, go to the medical tent, or look for a police officer or Festival staff member.
Tag-A-Kid
Coming to the festival with a youngster in tow? Take advantage of our free Tag-a-Kid service. Stop by the Tag-a-Kid booth where we will take down your contact information and give your child a specially numbered wristband. Should the two of you get separated, we’ll have a way to reconnect you.
Lost & Found
During the Festival, look for lost items at the Lost & Found booth on site. After the Festival, you can inquire about lost items here. Valuables will be held for 30 days and then given to a local charity. C3 Presents will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.
Food & Art
We create a Festival experience that is about more than just music. The Austin Eats Food Court is home to yummy food, drinks, and snacks from local favorite eateries. The SoCo Art Market features art, crafts items, and cool merchandise from the Austin creative community. Visit the Food & Art page for more info.
Be a Part of the Festival Band/Booking Information
Thanks for your interest in playing ACL Fest 2010! Due to the high amount of inquiries and submissions we receive a day, we have created a separate e-mail address to catalog and assess the music we receive on a daily basis. This address will receive submissions from the public until January 1, 2010.
Send your Electronic Press Kit to aclsubmissions@c3presents.com. In your EPK, be sure to include a bio, MP3(s), promo photo(s) and booking contact info and we’ll take a listen!
Sponsor Information
Please visit the Sponsor page for a complete list of Festival sponsors. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, email Courtney Trucksess.
As of August 30, 2009 the ACLMF volunteer application is closed, because almost all the teams are full and there are enough volunteers who have applied already and are waiting to be placed.
If you’ve applied, visit www.myvolunteerpage.com to update your profile, approve assigned shifts, etc. We’ve placed the bulk of our volunteers, but are still filling some positions. Closer to the festival, assigned volunteers drop out (for various reasons), so we’ll be looking to fill those spots from those who applied already.
If you want to read about the program, click here, but please do not apply at this time. We will not review or consider applications received after August 30.
Thanks for your interest and your amazing support of the festival!

Facebook Connect FAQ What is Facebook Connect?
Facebook Connect is a feature of Facebook which lets you use your Facebook login to log into sites across the Web.
From Facebook:
"Facebook Connect makes it easier for you to take your online identity
with you all over the Web, share what you do online with your friends
and stay updated on what they're doing. You won't have to create
separate accounts for every website, just use your Facebook login
wherever Connect is available."
Why Should I login for AclFestival.com?
There are a TON of benefits including: picking your favorites in the lineup, sharing with your friends, planning with your friends, telling your friends what bands you are going to see, and much more!
What can I do by logging in:
- pick your favorite bands
- share your picks with your friends
- find out which bands your friends like
- post your lineup to your schedule
- post comments about bands
Will ACL Festival steal my Facebook login info?
No, we have WAY more friends than you do and we don't care to log into your account. Kidding, but you know we wouldn't do something like that.
